Priscilla, Fasten your seatbelts; tickets are on sale now for fabulous new Broadway musical Priscilla Queen of the Desert. Tony Sheldon, Will Swenson and Nick Adams, the pageant to begin performances on Feb. 28 ahead of a March 20 opening night at the Palace Theatre.

Based on the popular 1994 film of the same name and already a huge success in London’s West End, the musical follows three drag queens as they drive across Australia in a bus down and learn about their friendships and own personalities. Simon Phillips directs the production, which includes traditional dance tunes, including “It’s Raining Men,” “I Will Survive,” “Material Girl”, “Shake Your Groove Thing” and “Girls Just Want to Have Fun”.

(AP) – Rocker John Mellencamp has filed for divorce.

The clerk’s office of Brown County in southern Indiana tells The Herald-Times of Bloomington a three-page complaint against Elaine Irwin-Mellencamp was filed Jan. 14, two weeks after the couple announced that ‘they were separating after 18 years of marriage.

Irwin-Mellencamp is the third wife of 59-year Mellencamp. They were married Sept. 5, 1992, and have two young sons, Hud and Speck Mellencamp.

Mellencamp and her first wife, Priscilla French, had a daughter, Michelle. Mellencamp has two other daughters, Teddi Jo and Justice, with her second wife, Victoria. The couple divorced in 1990.

Mellencamp latest album, “No Better Than This”, was released earlier this year.
