Prince Edward Island:Live! with Regis and Kelly will be ending its broadcasts in Prince Edward Island today, but the tourism industry of the province expected to visit the duo’s success will have a lasting impact.
On Monday, after the first exposure to the air in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island was shot in the top 10 Google searches the day in the United States, remaining there until today.
Tourism and Culture Minister Robert Vessey said that the visit of the series was very important for the province, both this week and in the long term.
Vessey said that investment was worth $ 800,000 from the government to bring the show to its shores.
At the end of today, the program will have four episodes recorded, two of which will air on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
