Prince Charles Vampire, This thing is Twilight out of hand. The Associated Press reports that Prince Charles says he is related to another famous prince – Vlad the Impaler, progenitor of the vampire legend.

Prince Why so eager to be linked to one of the bloodiest figures in history? Because he is an environmentalist.

Prince Charles spent a considerable amount of time and money traveling the globe, promoting various green causes, and that is related to the hero of Transylvania, we can say that has a strong interest in preserving the forests of Romania .

Carlos interest in Transylvania, the mountainous interior of Romania, is not new. Weeks before the U.S. invasion Iraq in 2003, I was in Transylvania and the small town of Sighisoara, one of the best preserved medieval cities in Europe, still seething about the visit of Charles, who had visited vocally oppose the creation of Dracula Land, a park vampire-themed attractions planned for the outskirts of the birthplace of Vlad.

Charles was able to help drive a stake through the heart of this project.

A local pub was a picture of the prince, who has a home in the region, on the wall. Allegedly had been on the top floor of the hotel – the same building as Vlad called his childhood home in the early 1400, according to local tradition.

Vlad, unknown to many, is the founding father of modern Romania. He is a hero fighting for invading Turks and the prevention of Eastern Europe fell under Christian rule no. Calling it a vampire is a good way to get a punch in Romania.

The Irish novelist Bram Stoker chose the corner of Europe, as the scene of his famous 1897 novel “Dracula.” He never bothered to visit. Had he done so, may have gotten pierced by something.
