Primal Scream 'disgusted' By Politician's Song UsePrimal Scream ‘disgusted’ By Politician’s Song Use, Rockers Primal Scream have criticized Interior Secretary, Theresa May, after using the rock band, the song without her permission, insisting that the group is “disgusted” that is associated with her political party.

After her speech at the Conservative Party’s annual conference, on Tuesday, May walked off the stage to the rockers’ 1994 hit.

But the move has angered the band, who have issued a statement mocking politicians for not understanding the meaning behind the music or political point of view of Primal Scream.

The statement says, “Primal Scream are totally disgusted that the Interior Minister, Theresa May finished her speech at the Tory Party conference (conservative) with ‘Rocks’ our song.

. “How inappropriate is it not the investigation of the political history of our band did not hear the words Do you even know what that means getting your rocks No. She’s a Tory (conservative)? How could I?

“Primal Scream are totally opposed to the coalition government (Prime Minister David) Cameron, (the Chancellor George) Osborne, (Education Minister Miguel) Gove, (Michael) Howard, (Deputy Minister Nick) Clegg, etc

“They are legalized thugs enact new legislation to ensure the rich stay rich, taking the side of big business, while the eradication of the rights of workers and continue its attacks against young, single mothers and pensioners (pensioners) cutting education budgets and social security, in effect, chasing the poor for being poor.

“We would like this partnership we distance ourselves sick. Conservatives are waging a war against the dispossessed. They are the enemy.”
