2-15-2010_59345_lPresident Zardari blamed for judges row | Pakistan Muslim League-N spokesman Sadiq al-Farooq said Monday that President Asif Ali Zardari was responsible for triggering a new confrontation with the judiciary.

Speaking to newsmen at the Karachi Press Club here, he said that President Zardari was neither helping himself nor the country by acting over smartly.

He said the President has a chance to get his name written in the history books in golden or black words. The PML-N spokesman further said that all issues could be solved through sensible decisions.

To a question, he said that Punjab would not use even one drop of Sindh water for its agricultural purpose. The people of Sindh were being misled on the issue of construction of power plant on Chashma-Jehlum Link Canal, he said.

The Punjab, he said, sacrificed its RS11 billion in the recently announced National Finance Award.
