Ponzi Scheme

Ponzi SchemePonzi Scheme, Diana Henriques book non-fiction account of the life and lies in jail fraudster Bernie Madoff debuts at number 10 on the bestseller list of The New York Times, this weekend.

The Wizard of lies: Bernie Madoff and death of trust, issued on 26 April, has been optioned by HBO for a movie, and now sources tell me that the pay channel is negotiating with Robert De Niro to play Madoff. There is no doubt that the two men definitely seem.

The book is said to be the final appearance of Madoff and its 65 billion and Ponzi scheme. Meanwhile, De Niro has personal experience of being ripped off: in 2009, Lawrence Salander, an owner of a major art gallery, was accused of defrauding a large number of high profile clients such as De Niro, and $ 88 million deals in high-priced art in more than 15 years.
