Plaxico Burress & Jets?
May 16, 2011 by staff
Plaxico Burress & Jets?, Just not much out there – and while there are hearings on temporary stays (ie, a lot of lawyer talk), the date to circle is 03 June, the day the appeal of the owners, finally listen. Meanwhile, Zach Berman of Star-Ledger wrote a great piece on Friday about Giants WR Sam Giguere. You can tell from the photo that Eli Manning seems to tower over Giguere, but the child is 5 feet 11 and seems to have a strong work ethic, which attend each day of official mini-camp Manning Hoboken high school. By the way, he wondered why no one Hakeem Nicks and Mario Manningham did not show up? I know Steve Smith is rehabilitating from a serious injury while becoming an expert in social media, but the other two guys? I think I have some homework this week.
In his blog on ESPN Insider, the main element in Adam Schefter offers bags with a big name, possibly landing with the New York Jets after the lockout. The receiver Plaxico Burress Burress is scheduled to be released in less than four weeks, and Schefter writes circumstances could lead the Jets to take on board Burress.
Maybe it’s because there is not much NFL news out there right now, but talk of re-installation Burress is generating a buzz similar to LeBron’s decision a year ago. Well, that’s an exaggeration, but still. Anyway, Ed and some of you guys know I’m in favor of carrying Burress to give an opportunity for the Giants, but apparently many of the other teams will claim the services of the man now. And if someone takes it, 1) Hope is not a division rival and 2) I hope not a team on our schedule, which excludes the Jets.
Former UTM football player Jerry Reese is the general manager of New York. He played for the Skyhawks in the 1980′s. Reese later became a personal trainer UTM before starting his career against the NFL office. Martin Reese is today. He is the keynote speaker at the ceremony for UTM. He told us what it means to UT Martin.
Before moving to Wisconsin, I lived in Nashville for seven years, and I can tell you that Reese is royalty in the state of Tennessee. From what we know about man, that the statute is warranted.
Finally, mocking the Project for interesting visits on Sunday last take a few first-round pick of the Giants. Have a great start to the week, everyone!
