Philippine Bar 2012 Results, The 2012 Philippine Bar Exam results are in, and now the top 10 passers, also known as “topnotchers” have been announced. Those who took the latest exam put in plenty of work and are probably looking forward to a sigh of relief now with a passing mark.

According to a report from Gold Star Daily World News, the results are in for the 2011 Bar Examinations held in the Philippines. There were 1,913 who passed the exam out of a total of 5,987 who took the test, making for a 31.95% passing rate. The report notes that this was the first-ever edition of the exam which had mostly multiple choice questions on it.

It’s reported that Raoul Angelo Atadero of Ateneo de Manila Law School scored 85.536% on the Philippine Bar Exam, taken in November 2011. He had the high mark and was followed by Luz Danielle O. Bolong (same school) with a score of 84.556%, and Cherry Liez Rafal-Roble of Arellano University with 84.455%. The full top 10 can be seen at ABS-CBN website.

The Philippine Bar Exam featured a combination of multiple choice, legal opinion essay, and trial memorandum essay questions. This was apparently the “second highest rate in the millennium,” which should make many professors, parents, and students proud. Next up for those who were among the top passers and overall students who passed the bar exam is the oathtaking. Bar candidates will participate in that at 2PM on March 21st.
