Paul O Grady Chat Show Axed

Paul O Grady Chat Show Axed, CAMP primetime comedy chat show Paul O’Grady has been fired – as ITV bosses are lining up for the role of a judge on Britain’s Got Talent. The station originally had ordered a third set of Paul O’Grady live to air Friday night, but have since changed my mind.
The decision comes after the ratings were lower than those born in Wirral and Paul ITV expected.
The first series averaged 3.7million in 2010, but later this year drew a disappointing 3.4 million.
However, there is a space on the panel of judges Summer giant ITV1 Amanda Holden along with comedian Michael McIntyre after quitting and the chiefs decided not to ask David Hasselhoff again.
O’Grady speaking series, a source told TV Biz: “The show was good and they were happy with it, but just do not pull their weight in ratings of Paul was not angry, it was a joint decision ..
Lily Savage creator O’Grady, 56, is said to be a great admirer of Britain’s Got Talent.
The source added: “The leaders have never made a secret wish that this program could become a perfect complement for him ..”
Remaining BGT judge Amanda is pregnant and give birth in the new year, when filming is done. But she is committed to not quit and plans to work the schedule around your baby.
Amanda, who has a daughter five years old, Lexi, said: “I’ve been told that my seat is safe, but the dates may clash.
“But we’ll work on something. I have said all the right people, I am safe from it.”
And he joked that show chief Simon Cowell would not dare fire her now that she is expecting.
He added: “It’s going to work around me.
“But what kind of man that has to be to fire a pregnant woman? That probably would put him on trial!”
