Paul McCartney Mad Men

Paul McCartney Mad Men, Paul McCartney has been busy lately, thanks to his new album out this week, Kisses on the Bottom, a concert streamed on iTunes and finally receiving his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Now, there are rumors that the former member of the biggest rock group of the 1960s might be making a cameo on Mad Men, a show based in that era.
The rumor started when the UK tabloid The Sun reported that the “Band on the Run” singer would write music for the hit AMC show. The publication says that the show’s producers thought that the new album, which features covers of McCartney’s favorite pre-Rock songs, perfectly fit the style of the show. McCartney then quickly agreed, since he is a fan of the show. “It’s perfect timing because his new music suits the programme perfectly,” the Sun’s source said.
The source added that McCartney “…could have a walk-on part if he wished but it’s unlikely he’ll ask for a role. He’s more than happy just to supply the tunes.”
However, The Mirror is reporting that he already agreed to the walk-on role. “It’s a perfect, perfect fit,” the source said, with the Mirror adding that it is not certain what role McCartney could play.
Mad Men would be just another new outlet for McCartney to promote his music. According to NME, McCartney told a German magazine late last month that he would be interested in writing for a video game. “It’s a fascinating market. A new computer game sells so much better than a new CD these days. Young people will hear my music for the first time in a game.” Of course, McCartney’s music has already appeared in video games, particularly in The Beatles Rock Band.
