Paul McCartney, Paul McCartney has just recorded an album devoted to covers of pop standards from previous years to the rock. Worked with an orchestra to record nearly a dozen songs, including some with Diana Krall and her band. Explaining the album, Paul says: “It’s the style of music my father. I’ve wanted to do that sort of thing ever since the days when the Beatles. But after Rod [Stewart] went crazy on it. I thought, ‘I have to wait for what does not look like I’m trying to make a rod.
They are just songs that I admire, I’m trying to get away from the obvious is to get-home-work music. Put it on and a glass of wine. ”
Paul also plans to go in the opposite direction and begin work on another album, which will feature “more heavy rock.” And he hopes to work with Dave Grohl on the new issues. Paul says:
“It sounds crazy, but keeps it fresh I love that -. You get a crazy idea and go with him you never know -. I go running in a garage to make this record.
But not in the garage of Dave. ”
Wow, man is 60 years late and still knows how to make good music and stay current. We applaud Paul and I cannot wait to hear your new album!
