Patrick Pit Bull, The dramatic saga of Patrick, the pit bull than a year old, rescued from a dump apartment last month, has caused an outpouring of donations, but has also raised scams.

“Patrick’s story is just heartbreaking, but the fact that people are trying to take advantage of this parody is despicable,” said Roseann Trezza, executive director of Humane Societies Associated State, this week in a statement.

Some groups within and outside the state shelters are charging for the use of Patrick, the image of administrative officers to lead donors to believe that their contributions will go to the rescued pit bull, he said.

Trezza, the organization of the AM donors are urged to beware of lawyers with the dog, the image of administrative officers in the shirts or artwork, or outside shelters been trying to take advantage of Patrick’s popularity administrative officers.

“It’s very, very beaten a nerve with most people seeing the pictures,” said shelter director Bruce Sanchez, the dog who has won nine pounds since I weighed only 19 kilos. “Many people wanted to see survive.”

Patrick was found March 16 of starvation and near a trash compactor in the Garden of Speyer in Newark. Humane Society officials Patrick rushed to Garden State Veterinary Specialists in Tinton Falls, where he has been recovering slowly.

The dog, the owner Kisha AM Curtis has been charged with animal cruelty. Recently published on bail and 1000.

The AHS accepts donations for their work, but Garden State Veterinary Specialists in Tinton Falls, where Patrick is hospitalized, has stopped taking donations for the dog, since received many. Both organizations time and money to Patrick.
