Parents’ Minor Marijuana Arrests Lead To Child Neglect Cases …, Two Indian Hills couples and a 14-year-old boy were arrested early Thursday following lengthy investigations into the illicit sales of methamphetamine and marijuana in Douglas County.

Search and arrest warrants were served at two residences at 4:30 a.m.

According to Sgt. Jim Halsey, young children were present in both homes when their parents were arrested.

Four children, ranging in age from 21 months to 11, were released to the custody of Child Protective Services.

At both homes, investigators seized numerous items relating to the illicit sales and possession of controlled substances including methamphetamine, marijuana, prescription medications, paraphernalia and cash.

Investigators of the Street Enforcement Team working with the Tri-Net Task Force and the Special Weapons and Tactics team served the search and arrest warrants at 3483 Indian Drive and 982 Ranchview Drive.

Arrested at Indian Drive were Gabriel Munoz, 37; his wife Korinna Frances Archuleta, 33, and the couple’s 14-year-old son who had a marijuana grow in his bedroom closet.

Munoz was booked on charges of trafficking in controlled substance, methamphetamine; sales of a controlled substance, possession for sales of a controlled substance, child abuse/neglect, contributing to the delinquency of a minor. His bail is $202,700.

Archuleta was booked on charges of trafficking in a controlled substance methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance, child abuse/neglect, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and possession of paraphernalia. Her bail is $121,900.

The 14-year-old was criminally charged with possession of marijuana and released to Douglas County Juvenile Probation.

At Ranchview Drive, Sandy Gennarini, 46, was booked on charges of sales of a controlled substance, marijuana possession of a controlled substance, and possession of paraphernalia. His bail is $21,200.
