Packers Falcons

January 16, 2011 by staff

Packers Falcons, After a turn “wild” NFL Wild Card, we have four big games this weekend as the playoffs March for the NFL Conference Championships. Watch our playoff games take the two on Saturday with a battle Ravens vs. Steelers and the Packers vs. Falcons.
The row over sports in the game vs. Pittsburgh Steelers Baltimore is -3 and the total is 37. Both kick off the weekend at Heinz Field, where the teams met in Week 4.
Charlie Batch led the home team in this one, as Big Ben was still sidelined because of suspension. The result was a 17-14 victory Baltimore.

Include Steelers 13-10 win at Baltimore in Week 13 and now these two games have seen four straight decided by exactly three points.

Roethlisberger showed little rust after missing four games and led the Steelers to a fifth series appearance in seven seasons and the Ravens need to get the same kind of pressure they showed at the last meeting.

Baltimore is 4-0 SU / ATS in its last four road games and over-12 in turnovers in their past five games with a plus-3 review last week in Kansas City. Make Roethlisberger fell almost impossible, but requiring him to make throws, he does not want to do could play right into the hands of Ed Reed and the secondary.

The additions of WRs Boldin and QB Joe Flacco Houshmandzadeh give opportunities that did not exist a year ago. TE Heap was huge against the Chiefs and must be at the top of his game once again, if the Ravens are in advance.

We love more than the side of it, but watching a game side, we feel by taking the 3-points with the underdog has the best value. Pittsburgh is an incredibly difficult road for a team to go win a playoff game, but the Ravens have the parts for a lawful prize. We like the 3-points in the hand.

Green Bay and Atlanta (-2.5, O / U 44) will compete in the slot on Saturday night prime time and as is the case in the four conference semifinals, the teams have already made the war during the regular season.

The Packers fell a little less surprise in Week 12, partly due to a distribution of special units in the last minute, but Green Bay has a 12-4 record ATS in its past 16 games dome. This stretch began in week 10, 2005 with a 33-25 victory in the same building, one year before McCarthy took over HC.

Aaron Rodgers Green Bay needs to produce and its past eight games SU Rodgers was 6-2 with a QB rating of 122.1 (ratio 7:02 p.m. TD to INT). Playmakers Green Bay during this period-generated 23 plays over 25 yards and the emergence of rookie RB James Starks last week in Philadelphia completes the package.

Defense wins championships and the Packers have a solid unit that will be tested all day per violation electrical Matt Ryan. RB Turner, WR White and TE Gonzalez were the best producers in any season, but Green Bay has held eight of its last nine opponents to 20 points or less.

Creative plans, an aggressive push and pass coverage were excellent all brands defense Dom Capers and we think it will be the difference in this football game.
