Ovarian Cancer Symptoms, Cancer is a disease condition in which cells begin to grow abnormally, these extra cells make tissue so a mass of extra tissues is formed, and it may be a tumor. This abnormal growth may take place at any part of body including brain, lungs and ovaries. In females the ovarian cyst is very common but it’s not regarded as cancer and it goes away with the passage of time. But it’s important to ensure that this cyst is either a cancer or not.
Ovarian cancer ranked as the seventh most occurring women’s cancer in U.S. Every year more than 25,000 women are diagnosed with this disease. At early stage of ovarian cancer any prominent symptoms is not seen. Few years later, The American Cancer Society, the Society of Gynecologic Oncologists and Gynecologic Cancer Foundation highlighted some early symptoms of cancer including
• Pain in body including abdomen, back and leg
• A Swollen Abdomen
• Feeling of tiredness
• Difficulty in breathing
• Unusual bleeding (vgnal bleeding)
But these symptoms are not sufficient to diagnose cancer because there are many other disease conditions with the similar symptoms that may confuse a healthcare expert so different examinations including Ultrasound, biopsy, medical examination, blood test and last but not least the family history evaluation is very important to give an accurate diagnosis. With the advancements is a medical science its cure is also possible but can’t neglect the side effects of these treatments.
