Orderves, Appetizers, snacks, h’orderves. Call it what you want, the fact remains that these delicious snack style go hand in hand with watching sports events. Needless to say, the mother of all football games, the Super Bowl requires a selection of super grub Finger Lickin ‘. Try these recipes for Super Bowl XLV February 6.

Poppers Pepper Green Bay

10 jalapeno peppers
4 oz Laughing Cow Light Creamy Swiss or Cheddar cheese, softened

10 slices bacon, halved
To: Cut peppers in half lengthwise, remove seeds, stems and center membrane. Stuff each half with about 2 tablespoons Tea cheese. Wrap with bacon and secure with toothpicks.

Place on a broiler rack that has been coated with nonstick cooking spray. Bake at 350 degrees F for 20-25 minutes or until bacon is crisp. Remove toothpicks. Serve immediately.

Stomach Pittsburgh Steelers

24 chicken drumsticks
2 / 3 cup of your choice Hot Sauce
3 cloves garlic chopped
1 / 4 large onion, chopped
2 Jalapenos
1 Chile Habernero
2 serrano chiles
1 stick butter
Bake wings at 425 for 45-60 minutes or until crisp. While cooking, saute the peppers, garlic and onions in butter unter onions are translucent, then pour the mixture into a blender and add the hot sauce – mix until smooth. When the wings are finished cooking, mix with sauce in large bowl.

You will need:

Jack Daniels whiskey
Triple Sec
Sweet & Sour mix
Cherry or lemon-lime soda
Fruit topping of choice
Large bowl
Multiply the Quanitity of each ingredient needed for a unique ccktail by the number of servings. Pour the whiskey, triple sec and mix sweet and sour in a large bowl, cover with lemon-lime soda. Stir well, then garnish with fruit. Do not add ice, as it will melt.
