Oprah’s Family Secret

Winfrey told viewers Thursday that it will be a meeting of his own “The Oprah Winfrey Show.” She would not say with whom – only that it involves something she has learned about recently and is known for only some people close to her.
“I thought I saw everything. But that, my friends, is the miracle of miracles, “Winfrey said in a promo for the show. The word “miracle” appears on the screen, thereby enhancing its delivery.
“I was given news that literally shook me to my heart. This time, I am the only being met, “she said. “I kept a family secret for months, and Monday you’ll hear directly from me.”
His production company, Harpo, declined to provide details Friday.
Given the history of the tangled family Winfrey, the possibilities are many reunions.
She was born to unmarried adolescents, Vernon Winfrey and Vernita Lee, and has repeatedly risen by a grandmother, mother, father and stepmother in Mississippi, Wisconsin and Tennessee, according to Winfrey and biographies different.
However, Kitty Kelley’s unauthorized biography of Vernon Winfrey in 2010 alleges that Winfrey is not the biological father of Oprah Winfrey. Kelley also claims she discovered the identity of the real father, but was kept secret until Winfrey learned the truth itself.
As a teenager, Oprah Winfrey gave birth to a son who died shortly after. This chapter of his life was revealed after a family member sold the story to a tabloid in 1990, and Winfrey would have felt betrayed.
Using his show in Chicago, to disclose a new wrinkle in her personal history allows him to retain other media to get the first.
Winfrey has proven itself a master at milking drama family, celebrities and others on his syndicated talk show in its 25th season and last. This month it launched a cable channel, OWN.
Over 100 members of the Osmonds attended it. She met the family at a time on the screen of “The Sound of Music” and the descendants of members of the real life Von Trapp family portrayed in the movie musical. After decades apart, the singer Seal and his foster sister were reunited on the show Winfrey.
There were also memorable reunion involving Clemantine Wamariya and Claire, sisters who survived the Rwandan genocide and immigrated to America, without knowing whether their relatives had survived. They learned they had, but it was not until Winfrey on stage with the sisters saw their mother and father.
