One Ticket $245 Million Powerball Winner

Has a winning Powerball ticket and for the six winning numbers – 12, 14, 34, 39, 46 and 36 – were sold in Connecticut Wednesday night.
The winning ticket is worth and 245 million, the largest payment in the state. The winner, however, may not be aware of their fate, because hundreds of thousands of Connecticut residents remain without power five days after the storm the weekend of snow downed power lines. More than 430,000 residents, especially in the north central part of the state are still without power.
The twice-weekly Powerball is played in 33 states and territories. He has not had a winner since September 14. The lottery pot is reset to 20 million and Saturday.
In January, the game will undergo some changes such as increased ticket prices and 2, and the award for doubling to 40 million dollars.
On Wednesday night, 19 tickets matched the first five Powerball numbers. They were sold in Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, New Mexico, New York, Ohio and Wisconsin. The winners will receive 200,000 and a piece.
