Once Upon A Time

Once Upon A Time, It was straight back into romance on Once Upon A Time this week, with none of the twistiness I enjoyed in the last installment. Mind you, it’s still a consistently entertaining hour of television.
Let’s begin in the fairytale world – Prince Charming has gone on the run from his wedding to Abigail (and he’s fleeing from King George). Luckily for him, Abigail’s not offended – in fact, she doesn’t really want to marry him either, so she agrees to help him escape.
We soon discover that her one true love, Frederick, ended up being turned into gold after saving Midas from an attack. The only potential cure is to collect some water from a magical lake, which will bring whatever you have lost back to you.
Naturally, this legendary lake is protected by an evil beast who has vanquished all that have attempted to take water. But Prince Charming’s so miserable that he’s willing to risk death to reunite Abigail and Frederick.
