Oklahoma Tornado 2010:Oklahoma City is reporting tornadoes killed east of Oklahoma City along I-40 goes off. Cars passed tractor trailers all over the place, says the buzz on twitter. Loves Truck Stop was demolished as seen in this picture sent to Fox News.
Reports and pictures continue to arrive over the Internet. Some of the same areas were hit before.
In a similar tornado in 2003, the truck driver David Waller explained that he was on Interstate 40 when he saw the tornado coming his way. He parked his 18 wheeler and ran for a clump of bushes. He and two other men clung to a tree as the tornado passed.
“I have fear of death,” said Waller, who was shaking, his clothes covered with mud. His semi was picked up by the tornado and dropped on its side.
East of Oklahoma City, I-40 was filled with tables, trees, twisted metal and insulation. Heavy wind damaged nearby industrial buildings, mobile home sales lots, a bank and a fast food restaurant.
