OKC Bombing Anniversary
April 19, 2011 by staff
A special ceremony was held yesterday morning in the Oklahoma City National Memorial, including a moment of silence and reading the names of the victims.
Survivors and family members were present at the center of Oklahoma City to remember those who died on April 19, 1995.
Oklahoma State has undertaken never to forget, and every year gathers to honor those who lost their lives on that day.
There are a couple of special events going on Tuesday as well.
At 11 hours some firefighters in New York City and local first responders will repair a flag that was destroyed after 11 September.
And at noon, the daughters of President George W. Bush will be in Oklahoma City to receive an award on behalf of his father.
