Obama Motorcade FineObama Motorcade Fine, Barack Obama has been fined £ 120 for not paying the congestion charge during his state visit to Britain.
U.S. President was beaten to the penalty of his trailer. London Mayor Boris Johnson wanted the congestion charge from £ 10 to pay for armored
limousine of the president – known as “The Beast” – and all the other cars during his visit in May. But the cameras could only photograph one of the vehicles in the caravan of Obama because he was driving so close. That is the issue of £ 120 fine.

Mr Johnson is understood to have raised the issue with Mr. Obama at a banquet at Buckingham Palace during their visit.

Foreign embassy staff must pay 50 million pounds in fines congested – plus £ 491,000 in parking fines and £ 566,000 in non-domestic rates.

U.S. is at the top of the list with a bill of £ 5 million, followed by Russia in £ 4.4million. The details emerged as figures showed 15 foreign diplomats committed “serious crimes” last year.

An envoy of the Ivory Coast took out a robbery, while a Turk was charged with assault.

Last night the U.S. Embassy said he was not aware of a fine – and claimed diplomatic rules prevented a publication.
