Norad Santa Tracker, For 55 years, the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) and its predecessor have followed the path of Santa Claus as he moves from the North Pole around the world on Christmas Eve to identify its location for children. Santa trackers will start answering the phone and respond to e-mail at 02:00 am MST (0400 EST) on December 24 at 3 pm MST (5 pm EST) on December 25.
