Nokia Lumia 900

Nokia Lumia 900, Nokia’s Lumia 900 isn’t just a reskinned Lumia 800 with new specs–it’s a completely new phone that’s also much larger than Nokia’s flagship smartphone. Boasting a 4.3-inch AMOLED display at a lowly WVGA (800 x 480 pixels) resolution, the LTE Windows Phone 7 device does borrow the look and feel of the Lumia 800 (and Nokia N9).
The smartphone packs a bigger 1,800mAh battery to accommodate the power-hungry LTE chip, and features a front-facing 1.3-megapixel camera for future video conferencing capabilities. While we note that the Lumia 900 uses the same polycarbonate material for its exterior, the 4.3-inch display doesn’t actually share the sxy curved glass effect of the Lumia 800.
A Nokia spokesperson told us that the uglier flat screens made for better viewing angles–and we’re quite skeptical. Most users would typically be looking straight at their smartphones anyway. We’re guessing that the flat display could be owed to Nokia rushing the product to the market–the company may not have had time to get the screen made with the gentle curves of the original design.
