Nlcindia, The Chief Minister M Karunanidhi will seek the intervention of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, to end the indefinite strike of India Neyveli Lignite Corporation (NLC India).

NLC strike entered India in 30 days Wednesday. About 13,000 contract workers have been on an indefinite strike since 20 September.

Workers in India NLC contract require adjustment of its payment services and regular workers.

Karunanidhi will talk to the Prime Minister and Minister of Coal on Wednesday to end the stalemate lasting a month.

Earlier Tuesday, opposition parties had called the band symbol to expand support for the striking workers NLC India.

The bandh evoked mixed response and passed peacefully.
