Nicole Scherzinger & ‘X Factor’, It’s official – after rumors and rampant speculation revolving Cheryl Cole has been replaced once definitley P**ycat Dolls Nicole Scherzinger as X Factor judge, The Los Angeles Times.
“Fox, Fremantle North America and Syco TV Nicole Scherzinger confirmed today Cheryl Cole is replaced on the judging panel of ‘The X Factor,’” the companies behind the series, said in a statement released Monday.
Scherzinger will join series creator Simon Cowell and former pop star Paula Abdul and recording veteran LA Reid at the judge’s table. The statement gave no reason for the departure of Cole in the series, but the former Girls Aloud star was sent packing humiliating show amid rumors that U.S. producers were concerned it would not be able to understand her strong accent Geordie and that she had no chemistry with the main judge Paula Abdul.
The spokesman for the show also has been avoided if some early footage that Cole would be taken again.
Cole Cowell would have offered a new space in the British X Factor, where he made her name as “Bride of the nation” (vom!) but seems to have accepted the offer.
Scherzinger was originally scheduled to be co-hosted the program with presenter Steve Jones, but now looks set to do the job without it. X Factor will be screened in the U.S. this next fall.
