Nicolas Cage Vampire

Nicolas Cage Vampire, The Nicolas Cage vampire photo conspiracy theory is one of the funniest celebrity gossip items I’ve heard in a while, and apparently the victim of this oddball rumor finds it rather amusing as well. “Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance” star Nicholas Cage had a laugh with Jay Leno on Thursday night’s “Late Show” over the strange speculation about his allegedly undead life.
Sparked by the actor’s rather strong resemblance to a man in a Civil War era photo, the oddball theory is that Cage is actually a vampire who pretends to die every so often and reinvent himself in a new life. An eBay seller in possession of the photo pitched the image for sale as evidence of a “walking undead/vampire” who “reinvents himself once every 75 years.” (An alternate theory out there is that this must be proof of Cage’s reincarnation.)
Appearing on the “Late Show” to promote his new film, “Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance,” Nicolas Cage joked with Jay Leno about the vampire photo rumor. “I don’t drink blood, and last time I looked in the mirror I had a reflection,” Cage said. The whole thing is actually rather ironically entertaining considering that Cage played a man who thought he was an undead blood-sucker (but actually was just crazy) in “Vampire’s Kiss.”
The Nicolas Cage vampire photo theory is totally out there, of course, but you can’t deny the resemblance between the actor and the Civil War era Tennessee man is pretty remarkable. Even the “Ghost Rider” star couldn’t deny he could almost be twins, or at least brothers, with the Civil War era man in the photo.
“Let me say that there is a resemblance,” Cage said, “but how can I be polite about this. It’s a somewhat slowed-down version of me.”
