Nick Lachey Vanessa Minnillo SplitNick Lachey Vanessa Minnillo Split, At first, appears like a cute idea, two beautiful celebrities meet to plan the wedding of your dreams. From invitations, dresses, food and gifts, viewers can see all the details and share the excitement of the couple and the love for the big day.

However, celebrity couples that have decided to shoot their wedding for the cameras and the networks have not always been successful. Make sure the paycheck, discounted wedding rates and the exposure is nice in the beginning. Once the marriage has ended, however, attention and the possibility of problems do not necessarily disappear.

As Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo Wedding airs this Saturday at the TLC, the question is asked, is it really the smartest thing to get married on TV?

Some couples have done so without problems. Trista and Ryan Sutter Watch “The Bachelorette.” ABC paid and 1 million broadcast their wedding in 2003 on ABC. They remain married today with two children. Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom planned their wedding in nine days and E! Saw record numbers for two hours wedding special. In fact, the couple now allows cameras in their married life with the series, “Khloe and Lamar.”

Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, La La Vasquez and Carmelo Anthony and “Real Housewives” star Lauri and George Peterson have said, “I do” in front of cameras and remain happily married too.

Some couples, though they have not been so fortunate. Carmen Electra and Dave Navarro MTV series “Til death do us part” did not help his marriage ended after two years. Adrianne Curry and Christopher Knight separated after the VH1 series “My Fair Brady,” aired.

However, the TV celebrity wedding business continues to grow. TLC outdoors wedding Niecy Nash Jay Tucker, last June. Shannen Doherty has announced a new reality show of their upcoming wedding that will be released in January 2012. Finally, Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries will E! Cameras in her upcoming wedding in August.

Maybe getting married is not so bad. You cannot blame an entire divorce or marriage to succeed in an episode of a TV series or short. But of all the celebrities who could get married on television, one would think that Nick Lachey would be more reticent. Her MTV series “Newlyweds” with estranged wife Jessica Simpson was one of the many reasons behind the divorce according to some fans and bloggers. Simpson has since denied that was the reason behind the split. For someone who seemed so private, some cannot wait to have a wedding Lachey on TV with his second wife.

With or without cameras, it is quite difficult for celebrities to stay happily married. With the marriage of television, the stars get more press, fans closer to partners and networks are happy with big ratings. Maybe everyone can live happily ever after.
