Nfl Week 5 Picks
October 7, 2010 by staff
Nfl Week 5 Picks, Last week we went 7-7 ATS and press 1 on the 2 best Paris and although this week I’m hoping to have 2 winners for everyone. There were a lot of underdogs winning last week and I expect more of the same this week. There are some key games this week, but the big news around the NFL is the fact that Ben Roethlisberger is back from his suspension. There was also a big trade this week that sent Randy Moss back to Minnesota, which will certainly help Favre.

NFL Week 5 best results
4 Minnesota Vikings against the New York Jets -4
New York Jets are 3-1 heading into Week 5, while the Vikings are only 1-2, as they had a bye last week. Minnesota has had great difficulty in the attack so far this season and is 30th in the league with an average of 14.3 PPG. This week, the Vikings picked up Randy Moss from the Patriots for a 3rd round draft choice, which will certainly help Favre on offense. Even with the Vikings struggling to attack, they still have the 5th running of games with an average of 143.3 YPG. Minnesota should be able to eat the clock against the Jets this week and keep the game close. I expect the game to fall in the range field goal and will gladly take the 4 with the team rejuvenated Vikings.
Philadelphia Eagles vs. San Francisco 3 -3 49′er
The 49′er return home after a trip west to play the Falcons last week. San Fran should have won, but Clements made a bonehead move with a minute left in the game that left the door open in Atlanta. I think the 49′er out like they did last week, but they should have more success at home rather than on the road. They always seem to play better at home and are an excellent place to pick up their first win of the season. Philly will be without Vick this week and will be using that Kolb did not impress me at all this season. Last week, he could not throw the ball further than 5 meters it seemed, and I really think he will struggle against the defense played very well last week 49′er.
