Nfl Trade Rumors

Nfl Trade RumorsNfl Trade Rumors, Kent Somers of the Arizona Republic has published an update on the search for the Cardinals for a quarterback and basically says that the Cardinals are moving on all fronts in the search for a quarterback. They are in talks with the Eagles and Broncos on the trades of Kevin Kolb or Kyle Orton, and have been talking with free agents Matt Hasselbeck & Marc Bulger.

It seems fairly clear that the cards will have a new quarterback at some point this week, it remains to see who it is. Either way, coach Ken Whisenhunt said that the complexity of the process means an agreement, probably will not be today. Of course, like everything in the NFL right now, things change every minute.

One issue that may be slowing to an agreement, either Orton Kolb is that both players are in the final year of his contract and trade; either may be subject to an extension. Orton is more than Kolb and may not require as large an area, however he is scheduled to make more this year and will have 9,000,000 Kolb and against the cap. Somers also noted that the cardinals have Orton and Kolb “valued at about talent.”
