Nfl Power Rankings Week 7, They say the first step to recovery is admitting you have a problem. For Olympic gold medalist LaShawn Merritt, the first step in recovery was to admit he took the popular male enhancement pill, ExtenZe. Defense Merritt’s three tests positive steroids based on an “Accidental ingestion.”
Today, an arbitration panel of three decided to reduce the two-year ban from track events and Merritt in the field to three months after a convenience store clerk testified that he remembered Merritt ExtenZe sale.
This Washington Post story goes on to say:
“The decision of the panel, which can be appealed by WADA, is notable because it supports anti-doping agencies to recognize that some positive tests are the results of real accidents, an important issue in recent years for the WADA, which governs drug testing of Olympic sports and the most international [s].
“Merritt said then in a press release that he had taken the product ExtenZe improve sexual performance, but Logan scoffed at the explanation, saying in a statement that Merritt” shames himself and his teammates “and” has caused harm to our efforts to fight against the plague of drugs in our sport. ”
While we’re at it, why not Barry Bonds and Lance Armstrong found that store clerks and testify for him too? I mean, if some were Merritt hack that has never won anything, it would be one thing.
But it is gold medalist in track (the 400, to be exact). And that sport is not exactly a criminal record. Without more definitive evidence, we have a hard time believing Merritt disorders arising from the need for nookie.
