New Year Wishes 2012, Forget squandering over your New Years resolutions, only one thing should be on your mind this New Years Eve, where and how will you ring in the New Year? Caller Entertainment has made it easy for you to party this year by compiling the official list of all of the New Year’s Eve parties happening in Corpus Christi. Now all you have to do is choose which one you will hit up.
Havana Club: Count down to midnight at Havana Club by celebrating the past, present and future with its Vintage New Year party theme. Dress to impress with vintage ccktail dresses for the ladies and fashionable attire for the guys. Cover is $20 for pre-sale tickets and $25 at the door. Enjoy a champagne fountain and complimentary hors d’oeuvres by Bleu Bistro along with entertainment by Reno Perez and the Groove Getters, Art Barrera, DJ Curtis Rock and James Garcia on the drums. Brewster Street: Spaz out this New Years Eve to the Spazmatics at Brewster Street. Tickets cost $50 and include a champagne toast, midnight buffet, and party favors. Stay safe and pay a little more for the transportation and Omni Marina Hotel package at $245. If you really want the VIP treatment you can reserve your own table up to 8 people for $500, however this does not include concert tickets. Keep in mind the Spazmatics tickets usually sell out quick. Bombay Lounge and Grill: Check out the “Greatest Show on Earth” party theme this New Years Eve at Bombay Lounge and Grill on the Southside. This will be one hot party with a fire breather on the patio, pop corn and cotton candy party favors with DJ Mike Mo spinning the latest tunes. Cover is $10 for individuals and $15 for couples. Aria Sky Terrace Downtown: If you’re looking for a traditional way to ring in 2012 make your way to Aria Downtown for a 1,000 balloon drop at midnight, complimentary champagne with reservations, party favors, and a DJ to help heat things up on the dance floor. Harrison’s Landing: Whether you want to make plans for a romantic dinner or celebrate the New Year with the family, make reservations at Harrisons Landing for a 3 course meal $65 a plate, dinning times at 6:30 and 9:30 p.m. The back dock will be tented and heated and a dance floor will be put up so you can dance your way into the New Year with the on site DJ. If you want something even more special, make reservations for their midnight countdown cruise on the Japonica boat from 11:30-12:30 p.m. Cost is $20 or $15 if you combine it to the dinner reservations. Omni Bayfront Hotel: The Omni Bayfront Hotel, 900 North Shoreline Blvd., will host its Annual French Toast New Years Eve bash with decorations, party hats, noise makers, party snacks and a champagne toast at midnight. There will be a hot breakfast buffet with black-eyed peas at midnight at 12:15 a.m. There will be a cash bar. In the Corpus Christi Ballroom Jon Christopher Davis and the Lone Star Attitude will be playing all your country hits from 8 p.m. to 1:30 a.m., check out their music at their music at www.thesoundoftexas.com. In the Nueces Ballroom dance to the best beach songs by Texas Tide from 8 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. The New Years Eve super value package includes a room, two tickets to the New Years Eve party and late check out at $199 plus tax. The High Chaparral Dance Hall: If you are looking for a party before the party- Check out the Pre-New Years Eve party with Roger Creager with special guest Johnny Kiser at the High Chaparral Dance Hall located at 1961 HWY 77 N, Robstown. Doors open at 8 p.m. and the music lasts until 1 p.m. Presale tickets are $15 plus tax and $20 at the door. When you purchase a ticket to this show you get a complimentary ticket to the Mark McKinney concert on New Years Eve night with doors opening at 8 p.m. Tickets for Mark McKinney cost $10 at the door. House of Rock: If you’re looking for a party for all ages- you can dance your booty off at the House of Rock’s New Years Eve dance party, located on 511 Star Street. Dance the night away with music by Johnny Hot Cakes, D.J. Kno, and Ste’von Voice. The Annual Lonestar party is for all ages and tickets cost $5 at the door. There will be a ladies champagne toast at midnight. Pick up free tickets at Produce, 415 Peoples Street, Villains, 619 N Mesquite Street, and Expression Skateboard Distribution, 427 Peoples Street.
Flanagan’s Downtown:If you don’t feel like paying a cover head out to Flanagan’s Downtown, 417 Star Street, for great jams and drink specials. Enjoy complimentary champagne at midnight and drink specials include $4 Grey Goose, $4 Patron, $4 Yeager bombs. There will be no cover and DJ Stump spinning all night long.
Beer 30 Ice House: Bring in the New Year at Beer 30 Ice House at 3810 Bratton Road with the rock band Fully Loaded bringing you all the classic 80s metal hits from 9:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. and of course lots of cold beer to choose from.
Comfort Suites New Years Eve Package: Wanting to get a hotel for the night? Try this New Year Eve Package at the Comfort Suites which includes a room, complimentary champagne, and late checkout at 1814 Ennis Joslin Road. The details include room accommodations, party favors, complimentary champagne for a midnight toast, full hot breakfast buffet, and late check out at 1 p.m. Pricing is $102 plus tax for a king suite or $112 plus tax for a double queen suite. The Executive Surf Club: If you are looking for a place that will be super laid back and where you could bring the kids check out the Executive Surf Club located on 309 North Water Street, featuring live music by Matt Hole and the Hot Rod Gang with special guests The Reely Rotnz. Dewey’s Beer Garden: Bring in the New Year at a laid back bar at Dewey’s Beer Garden located on 2302 Rodd Field Rd # 2. Dewey’s will have live Texas country music by Logan James and Friends from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. along with drink specials that include $3 Yeager bombs, $3 flavored vodka, and $1 jello shots and complimentary champagne at midnight. Bourbon Street: If you are looking for a place with variety head out to Bourbon Street Bar and Grill located on 313 North Chaparral Street. 102.3 FM’s Gabe Rivera will be broadcasting live along with another DJ in the Voodoo room and country music in Porky’s. Drink specials for the night include $3.50 wells and $3.25 domestic beers. Cover is $5 for guys, $15 for minors, and ladies get in free.
Katz 21: Get dressed up and head to Katz 21 for 2012. Make it a romantic night with a mixed grill dinner for two for $200 or enjoy a pre-fixed menu in the seated dinning room for $85 a plate. At the Spirits bar the Return of Sonia de La Paz (formally with the Jolly Ranchers) will be entertaining you with tunes and enjoy a champagne toast at midnight. Whiskey River: Get your cowboy boots and head to Whiskey River to two-step your way into 2012. RollerJam SkateTown If the kids are looking for a fun unique way to roll in 2012, check out RollerJam’s Skate Lock-in New Years party from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. There will be a huge balloon drop at midnight with cash and prizes. Skate and dance the night away with an onsite DJ. Cover is $15 a person. No one under the age of 17 will be allowed to leave before 6 a.m. unless picked up by a parent. No outside food or drinks.
