Netflix Cancels Qwikster

Netflix Cancels Qwikster, Finally, Netflix is ??doing something right. Last month, the DVD rental giant transmission line apologized for not communicating well with respect to price increases – but caused further outrage consumer with its plan to separate DVD and streaming into two companies require two independent separate accounts. Worse, the DVD-rental company would be called the ridiculous “Qwikster”.
No more! According to The New York Times, Netflix has dropped the plan and instead Qwikster keep your DVD rentals and transmission companies in the same umbrella of Netflix. “We have underestimated the appeal of the website only and one service,” said spokesman Steve Swasey of Netflix. He hastened to add: “We have much to be underestimated.”
CEO Reed Hastings said in a statement: “Consumers value the simplicity Netflix has given and we respect that. There is a difference between fast movement – that Netflix has done very well for years -. And moving too fast, which is what made in this case ”
Nice try. That they were “too fast” – moving without thinking about the customer! All proposed changes were good for the company, but none was suitable for the customer!
This is a head scratcher, given that Netflix has been admired for its simplicity and convenience. At least Netflix is ??changing things now!
