Navy SEALs KilledNavy SEALs Killed, The Associated Press has learned that more than 20 Navy SEALs unit that killed Osama bin Laden was among those who were lost in a helicopter crash in Afghanistan.

The SEAL Team Six operators were transported by a team from the 160th Aviation Regiment Special Operations. That’s according to a former official and a U.S. power. Both spoke on condition of anonymity because the families are being notified of the loss of their loved ones.

A source says the team is believed to include 22 SEALs, three air traffic controllers, Air Force, seven soldiers of the Afghan army, a dog and handler, and a civilian interpreter, in addition to the helicopter crew.

The sources of thought, was the largest loss of life ever to SEAL Team Six, known as the Naval Special Warfare Group Development.
