National Radio DayNational Radio Day, National Radio Day is today! Yes, incredibly August 20 Kim Kardashian is not only to the date of the wedding of Kris Humphries. Of course, lovers of radio and do not care about reality TV stars you know, right? If not, read about some of the history of the National Day of Radio.

This national holiday is similar to other lesser-known holidays such as National Tell-A-Joke of the Day, and is not widely known and the source is vague at best. Initially started sometime in the 1990s as a way of celebrating the invention of the radio (of course)! Radio was originally created sometime back in the 1880′s.

Fortunately, technology continues to amaze and inspire. National Radio Day is just the beginning. Who knows what tomorrow will be holidays? It may not be the National Day of holographic TV sometime soon, or even a day national carrier. One thing is certain, as long as humans have the technology; there is always something to celebrate.
