National Popcorn Day
January 19, 2010 by USA Post
National Popcorn Day is indeed January 19, although where and when such a decision was made is unknown.
Popcorn is actually a lowfat, fairly nutritious snack that is high in fiber, so celebrate National Popcorn Day by indulging in a 1-cup portion. I don’t know about you, but one cup of popcorn is simply a tease to me; as is eating it in a healthful manner.
Butter, salt, caramel, chocolate, butter toffee….these are but the icing on the cake–or the topping on the popcorn, if you will. National Popcorn Day celebrants will likely enjoy these delectable options in lieux of the plain old healthy version.
So how will you celebrate National Popcorn Day? I’m thinking mine will have a little butter and lots of salt!
