National Donut Day 2010National Donut Day 2010:It’s National Donut Day, folks. Yes, if you’ve heard the rumor, the share of Krispy Kreme donut places are offering a free in honor of the day. If you’re jonesin ‘for a free program, you may want to call before going again. On the other hand, I never met a Krispy Kreme does not offer a free donut at the request of, “That one shows that of those?” Seriously. Try it at some point in his gentle voice. See if they do not oblige.

Anyway, let us celebrate the donut. The precursor of the gut, bustingness. These children come in many options, put the auto industry look black and white.

Do you know what I like? And I’m almost a little embarrassed to admit, the little chocolate ice cream Donettes. ” They are always so greasy and perfectly chocolately. If you are a chocolaholic like me, are even better with a quart of chocolate milk low in fat. Yes I have to be low in fat.

For the business of donuts, Krispy Kreme is apparently coming back around. It’s nice to see the beginning of an economic turnaround, we are able to apply our funds to the real needs of life. Krispy Kreme announced profits in Q1, and executives are optimistic about the rest of the fiscal year. Their optimism makes me … hunger.

I do not know who declared today National Donut Day, and honestly people, I do not care enough to research. Even for Google. But I thank that person. I nod to them in confidence, and I hope we can all enjoy some sweets, sugars, fats, fried (or maybe baked) bread, sugar coated, wrapped in melted sugar, covered with chocolate sprinkles , maple flavoring artificial, full of jelly, cream or Kreme.

May National Donut Day live in our hearts throughout the whole weekend. Thanks, Donuts.
