Nathan Woods, Nathan Woods, here is the race Husaberg factory last year, died today in a practice accident in the opening round of the WORCS race. Nathan Woods died today from injuries sustained in an accident practice in Honolulu Hills Raceway in Taft, California where he was preparing for the opening round of the World Series Championship Off-Road this weekend. Woods was created to compete in 2011 WORCS Pro Series 1 Carbon Raptor team Stillwell race aboard the KTM Performance # 54. Reports indicate that he was taken to hospital and pronounced dead after a fall on the portion of the motocross track.
Woods has been driving professionally for nine years and has benefited from two wheels since the age of seven. The 32 years of Paso Robles, CA WORCS has accumulated two championships (2004-05) and amassed the most wins in the history of the series plus a gold medal at the ISDE and competing regularly in Endurocross. His career saw him ride for the factory Kawasaki, Suzuki, Husaberg and Zip-Ty Racing Yamaha before signing his contract KTM this year. Nathan leaves behind his wife, Amanda, and his son, Nate, and Braxton.

WORCS Champion and ISDE gold medalist Nathan Woods was killed today while practicing the opening round of the weekend series in 2011 WORCS Taft, California.
Woods, Paso Robles, California, was expelled from his bike on a jump table and was rushed to hospital where it was confirmed he had died. We originally heard that Woods died of head injuries, but we hear reports that he suffered internal injuries. Woods was 32 years and has a wife, Amanda, and his two sons, Nate, and Braxton.
Our prayers are with the Woods family. Today off-road racing has lost one of the largest off-road champions never throw a leg over a Dirtbike.
