Nascar Stp 400, Brad Keselowski to drive the No. 2 Miller Lite Dodge Charger won the inaugural Sprint Cup Series STP 400 on Sunday at Kansas Speedway, where U.S. ethanol was displayed prominently. When asked during the press conference following the NASCAR race with 15% ethanol fuel this year, said Keselowski NASCAR applauded for their green initiative. “It’s just an added bonus that (ethanol) from the United States,” he said. “That’s really cool.”
Fuel was what won the race Keselowski and crew chief Paul Wolfe says he has seen no change in performance since the series shifted to ethanol by 15% this year. “It seemed to be a very good fuel for us today,” he said.
Team owner Roger Penske is happy with NASCAR’s decision to ethanol. “The reliability is there, the fuel is there and can see the performance, so I think it is a win-win for everybody,” said Penske.
