MTV Awards & Nominations, For the second time in three years, the vampires of “Twilight” are leading the charge at the MTV Movie Awards. To show this year, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart movie “Eclipse” grabbed eight nominations – including Best Film, Best Fight and Best Kiss – narrow beating thieves dream of “initiation” (seven nominations) and assistant the “Harry Potter and the Relics of Death: Part 1″ (six nominations). All three films have been nominated for Best Picture and will compete with “Black Swan” (four nominations) and “The Social Network” (five nominations) for the first prize of the night.
Hosted by Jason Sudeikis, 20, 2011 annual MTV Movie Awards will air live on Sunday, June 5 at 9 pm ET from the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California. Starting Tuesday (May 3), you may contact MovieAwards.MTV.com to vote for a winner in each category until 4 June. Vote for Best Picture, however, will remain open during the awards ceremony – which means you will have the opportunity to affect a larger award of the night until the last minute.
Stewart and Pattinson, who each took home a better performance to win at the fair last year, returned to compete in their respective categories. To Actress, Stewart faces Emma Stone (“Easy A”), Emma Watson (“Deathly Hallows”), Jennifer Aniston (“Just Go With It”) and Natalie Portman (“Black Swan”). Pattinson Actor competes for with Radcliffe (“Deathly Hallows”), Jesse Eisenberg (“The Social Network”), Taylor Lautner (“Eclipse”) and Zac Efron (“Charlie St. Cloud”).
This year, MTV is introducing a new category, the best line from a movie that pits the likes of Jesse Eisenberg, in “social networks” (“If you were the inventors of Facebook, you would have invented Facebook”) against Tom Hardy in “Inception” (“We should not be afraid to dream a little bigger dear”), and Alexys Nycole Sanchez in “Grown Ups” (“I’m chocolate”).
Justin Bieber makes its debut on the Movie Awards nomination process, as the phenomenon of pop than 17 years of age, enters the best fighter amazing time. The “Never Say Never” star James Franco is facing (“127 Hours”), Leonardo DiCaprio and Ellen Page (“Inception”), Natalie Portman (“Black Swan”) and Steve-O (“Jackass 3D”)
The best kiss category has a lip-smacking showdown of the stars of the franchise, “Twilight” against Stewart Stewart and Pattinson and Lautner, as well as Ellen Page and Joseph Gordon-Levitt (“Inception”), Watson and Radcliffe (“Deathly Hallows”) and Portman and Mila Kunis (“Black Swan”). The Best Villain champions Tom Felton (“Deathly Hallows”) returns to the fold back into battle Christoph Waltz (“The Green Hornet”) and Leighton Meester (“The Roommate”), Mickey Rourke (“Iron Man 2″) and Ned Beatty (“Toy Story 3.”)
