Most Obese State

A Wisconsin think-tank ranks the counties in Missouri and Kansas that are the most obese.
According to the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, its survey of adult obesity in every county found the least healthy county in Missouri is Pemiscot where 33-percent of its adults are considered obese.
In Kansas, the distinction goes to Cherokee, Crawford and Labette counties all in the southeast part of the state where adults are obese at a rate of 31-percent.
The foundation also says Missouri’s healthiest county is Christian with a 28-percent obesity rate while in Kansas, Riley County is the healthiest at 26-percent
