Most Momey Made Jeopardy, Duluth East grad Kathryn Wendling made the semifinal rounds on the Teachers Edition of “Jeopardy” this week, but that’s as far as she went.

Wendling, a social studies teacher in Burnsville, Minn., has won solid money on game shows over the years, including $67,500 on “The Weakest Link” and $50,000 on “Who Wants to be a Millionaire.” She made it to the “Jeopardy” semifinals this week as a wild card after winning $19,200 in the first round, televised last week.

Wendling started out strong, winning the first money by knowing it was Jim Morrison who named his band after the Aldous Huxley book “The Doors of Perception.” But after that it was up and down for her and she went into the final question with only $400 to play with.

Wendling graduted from East High School in 1991 and was named “Most Likely to Appear on Jeopardy” by her school newspaper.
