Mlb Playoff GamesMlb Playoff Games, Like when the Detroit Tigers and Yankees met in the postseason in 2006, time is becoming a factor in the 2011 ALDS between the two teams. Game 1 was postponed Friday night after an entry and a means of action due to heavy rain showed no signs of abating. The chances of getting the game were scarce, so the decision was made by Major League Baseball to postpone until Saturday night.

Because the rules of postponement in the playoffs, a game will resume at 8:37 pm on Saturday night. What happened on Friday night will, so that none of the actions is washed thoroughly.

With a moving game Saturday, Game 2 has been moved to Sunday at 15:07 Sunday was originally going to be a rest day for the Tigers and Yankees, but that’s not going to happen with Game 2 scheduled for that day.

Here’s a look at updating the Tigers and Yankees Schedule:

Resumption of Game 1 – Saturday, October 1, 20:37 (TBS)

Game 2 – Tigers Yankees – Sunday, October 2nd, 20:37 (TNT)

Game 3 – Yankees at Tigers – Monday, October 3, 20:37 (TBS)

* Game 4 – Yankees at Tigers – Tuesday, October 4, TBD (TBS)

* Game 5 – Yankees Tigers – Thursday, October 6, TBD (TBS)

* If necessary

It seems there could be more rain in the Bronx, on Saturday, so if a game is pushed back again, things really get complicated schedule is concerned. It is hoped that keeps them out of a game and is capable of being completed.
