Missoni Launches New Line For TargetMissoni Launches New Line For Target, Fashionistas across the country have an early start as Target launched its highly anticipated Missoni collection target for the capsule Tuesday morning to overwhelming response.

The limited collection with bright patterns zigzag markings on Missoni, went on sale at Target’s Web site at 6 am Eastern time and three hours later, the site was down. After a brief period when he came back online, the site crashed again and held down at 12:30 ET.

“Due to an overwhelming amount of traffic through, as a result of Missoni launch this morning, guests can not access the site,” White said in a statement. “Providing a positive shopping experience for our customers is important to us and we are working to get the site back up as soon as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience.”

Meanwhile, buyers in the country of destination, which preferred to view the goods in person showed up within hours of the retail giant stores before opening to ensure that it would be able to get what they wanted in the collection of Missoni zigzag chevron .

NY Racked reported that both Target stores in New York sold its goods Missoni in less than 15 minutes, while the Dallas Morning News wrote that more than 70 people lined up at the Target store on North Haskell Avenue opened its doors at 8.

The Missoni collection target for the capsule is composed of men, women and children clothing, household goods and even a bicycle. Prices for the collection and range from 2.99 to 599.99, and with most items that are subject to 40, which is significantly cheaper compared with the usual luxury brand high-end prices.

This is not the first time that Target has collaborated with fashion designers to produce exclusive, lower-priced lines made with cheaper fabrics. The discount chain has previously worked with Calypso St. Barth and Jean-Paul Gaultier, Missoni, but the alliance is the largest store to date.

The Missoni collection target is expected at October 22, and although most stores have exhausted their initial stock of goods, the supply chain is expected to restock.
