Miranda Lambert Plane Emergency, Country music star Miranda Lambert had to make an emergency stop after her Nashville-bound plane was diverted to West Virginia.

According to an Instagram post from Lambert’s account on Tuesday evening, the plane carrying the four-time CMA Female Vocalist of the Year had to make an emergency landing in Clarksburg, W.Va.

The only plane that diverted to the North Central West Virginia Airport on Tuesday was a corporate flight from Teterboro Airport in the New York City area, according to FlightAware data.

Lambert had made several appearances in New York City to promote her new album, “Platinum.”

The plane lost pressure and spent about three hours on the ground before resuming its flight, said Wes Vause, Lambert’s publicist. Killing time, Lambert and friends hung out with firefighters while trying on their shiny hazmat suits and posting pictures to social media.

“All in all, it was a pretty good day,” Vause said with a laugh.

The plane later landed at Smyrna Airport around 7 p.m. Central time, according to FlightAware.

Lambert is set to perform at the CMT Music Awards on Wednesday and the CMA Music Festival at LP Field on Friday night.
