Military Bowl 2010

December 30, 2010 by staff

Military Bowl 2010, The Bell Helicopter Armed Forces Bowl is a college football playoff game played at Ford Stadium in University Park, Texas. Previously known as the Fort Worth Bowl and the first contested in 2003, the Armed Forces Bowl now matches teams from the Mountain West Conference and Conference-USA. As part of 2010′s bowl arrangement, the Army (U.S. Military Academy) has proposed an offer for the game if one of the affiliated conferences is unable to fill its slot with a team bowl-eligible.

Army will be led by their three headed monster in the backfield: Hassin, Maples, and lead the attack Mealey triple option that attempts to grind. Look for Maples to have a big game if the Army has a chance to pull the disturbance thereof. Their defense is led by star defensive end Josh McNary, the leader of all time in sacks in the Army. Search Force him to move and try to pressure and shake off the schedule of play SMU rapid transition.

June Jones leads a team of EMS together one of their best seasons probably since Craig James and Eric Dickerson. The Mustangs have faced a military academy earlier in the season when they lost to Navy 28-21. And perhaps one of their best performances of the year when they held a lead in the second half against TCU before TCU took over and won the match. SMU is led by QB Kyle Padron in a version of the run and shoot a fast-paced offense as they try to put the ball in the air much. They also have a bottling line is 39 m. far the second best rushing season in school history behind Dickerson. On defense the Mustangs are led by sophomore LB Taylor Reed, who had a team-high 133 tackles, including 20 against the Navy! Senior LB Pete FLEP added 116 stops on the season are a combined 249 tackles between two guys! SMU-Eric, Jay-Army, Jeff-Army, Army-Jim, and Joe-SMU-SMU Mali Obviously, I took EMS so we know who will win! SMU opened as a 7 point favorite in the game ths, but the Army should be proud to play for in its own bowl, and the fact that nobody likes Craig James could influence things in their favor and . Not much scientific thought went into this selection for many of us, because I can not say I sat and watched one of these teams play ths year, other than SMU TCU cons. So do what you want.
