Michael Parkinson To Make Talkshow Comeback On Sky Arts, Veteran talkshow presenter Sir Michael Parkinson is making his television comeback on Sky Arts later this year.

Having retired back in 2007 from his ITV1 show, it was revealed tonight that he’ll be returning for six episodes of a brand new series titled Masterclass.

The new shows will be hour-long each, and will be looking back at the life and careers of a different celebrity each week, and will also include musical and drama performances.

Sky Arts Director James Hunt said: “He is one of our country’s finest broadcasters, having interviewed everyone in the entertainment industry worth knowing, form Bing Crosby to Bette Davis, Rod Hull to Madonna.”

Parkinson said: “I’m delighted to be working with Sky Arts on the Masterclass series and look forward to being part of the exciting times ahead for this innovative and important channel.”
