Michael Kors To Marry, It “Project Runway” to be staged by a gay wedding episode soon? Michael Kors, one of the best designers and one of the judges of the TV show long-lasting fashion, said he plans to marry his partner, Lance Lepere, now that gay marriage is legal in the state of New York.
“Lance and I are very excited to finally have the opportunity to marry in our state after many years together,” Kors, a native of Long Island, said in a statement.
“We have no plans for a big game, but we will marry in private,” Kors, 51, said.
Lepere Kors and were seen at City Hall in New York to obtain a marriage license on Thursday, according to press reports. The two met in 1990 when he began working in the company as an intern Lepere.
Kors are just the latest public figure to announce his plans to marry a same sex couple.
Neil Patrick Harris has recently reiterated that he and his partner David Burtka, parents of 10-month-old twins, had spent several years and is married, but said there were no concrete plans have been made as to a date or place.
Harris also said that the wedding would be low profile and private.
