Michael Jackson’s Death Bed Not For Sale
November 16, 2011 by staff
Michael Jackson’s Death Bed Not For Sale, Michael Jackson’s death bed has become very controversial and not because of Conrad Murray this time. Fans and loved ones of the pop star became outraged when they learned that Michael Jackson’s death bed was being placed up for auction by Julien’s Auctions.
The request to pull Jackson’s bed was made via Michael Jackson’s estate. Even though earlier reports indicated that Jackson’s entire bed was up for auction that is simply not true. Jackson’s mattresses were never part of the auction deal, being they had been taken up as evidence in his trial. Duh!
Now there is not even one part of Jackson’s death bed up for auction any longer. Can you believe the greed in America? The fact that people even want a celebrity’s death bed is creepy in and of itself! Darren Julien, the founder of Julien’s Auctions, explained that he expected the death bed to sell for a minimum of $3,000–$5,000. Poor guy…he is gonna miss out now! He needs a pat on the back!
Julien mentioned that Michael Jackson’s bed could have went for higher, but it would depend on the demand for it. Let Jackson rest in peace.
Do you recall that Dr. Conrad Murray recently ratted on Michael Jackson as a bed wetter? Who would seriously consider his bed anyway? Gross! Murray went so far as to explain that the bed had to be continuously cleaned because of the mildew and pee smells.
How in the world did Julien even get ahold of Michael Jackson’s death bed in the first place? Apparently one of Jackson’s family members sold out to the auction house. Ugh! People are sick and greedy!
Even though Michael Jackson’s bed will not be up for auction, other expensive items have made the cut like Maurice Utrillo and Henri Rosseau’s paintings. For those of you just itching for a Michael Jackson memorabilia, there will still be a “kitchen chalkboard with a handwritten note on it” up for auction at Julien’s on Dec. 17.
