Men At Work Ron Strykert Arrested Criminal Threats, 2-17-2009 – Men At Work Co-Founder Ron Strykert Arrested For Making Threats
A founding member of Men at Work is cooling off in a Los Angeles jail after cops arrested him late last week.
According to TMZ.com, guitarist Ron Strykert was booked on a felony charge of making criminal threats. While details are sketchy, cops say it happened at a Hollywood home that Strykert used to live in.
The guitarist, who founded Men at Work with singer Colin Hay in 1979, is still being held in lieu of 50-thousand-dollars bail. Men at Work was best known for the 1981 chart-toppers “Who Can It Be Now?” and “Down Under.”
